I have an employee that wants to become a retailer.

Dear Admins,

I have an employee that is interested in setting up his own retailer with Dish Network. I have given him an honest picture of the revenue opportunities and the commission levels and all that but I have avoided telling him too much about the dark side of trying to work with Dish Network because he would, I am sure, believe that I was trying to sour him to the idea for selfish reasons. Anyway, what I was hoping could happen would be that you could temporarily authorize him to access the retailer only portion of the site so that he could search and ask questions of existing retailers.

Let me know if that is something that could ever happen.

IDEA! Give him a "slice of the pie" tell him he will make extra on every sale but he must do his own advertising/calls to get them. Why would he want all of the overhead when he could take a reduced "commission" to offset what would be his cost of operating. Yet when a chargeback comes he should lose all of it (more than he was paid) sense that is what happens to us. Let him see what it is like to lose money you have already spent. If he does well over time he may want to go it alone. If not he may find your safety net is really a comfortable hammock. Also show him the capitol costs to inventory, insurance, overhead, etc.
